Application Process
- Download the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC) application and admissions timeline
- This timeline explains how to prepare for medical school as a college student
- You will need to take the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT), among other things
- Consider the academic prerequisites for the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson
- Participate in the recommended application prep activities offered by the College:
- Complete your application through the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS)
- Designate the Tucson campus of the University of Arizona College of Medicine
- You are now under preliminary review as an applicant
- Complete your secondary application
- Attend a Multiple Mini Interview (MMI)
- The admissions committee makes its decisions
