Judith DiMarco, PhD, is associate dean for administrative affairs and chief of staff for the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson. She previously served as assistant dean for administration in the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) School of Medicine, where she oversaw strategic and operational planning, budget planning and control and fiscal projections. Dr. DiMarco also coordinated academic administrative activities with basic science and clinical department administrators. She also held a faculty appointment as an instructor in the Department of Family Medicine. Dr. DiMarco is a member of the Medical Group Management Association, the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Group on Business Affairs. She was an associate member of the Association of Departments of Family Medicine, where she also served as the 2012 chair of associate members/administrators group. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from Alma College, Alma, Mich.; her master’s degree in community psychology from Long Island University, Greenvale, NY, and her doctorate in population health sciences/epidemiology from UTMB in Galveston.
