Victoria R Sprunger McCurry, MD

Clinical Assistant Professor
While growing up overseas in multiple African countries, Dr. McCurry was first inspired to become a physician. After moving back to the US and claiming Prescott, Arizona as her adopted hometown?, Dr. McCurry completed her undergraduate studies at Biola University in Biochemistry and English History, medical school at University of Arizona COM Phoenix and residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine at South Campus Family Medicine Residency. She concurrently completed both the Global health and Integrative Medicine tracks during residency. During her adult life, her global health interests have taken her to multiple countries in both Central America and Africa. She has also spent time at rural hospitals on the Navajo and Whiteriver Apache reservations in Arizona. Currently, she is an attending hospitalist/nocturnist for both U of A residencies, as well as associated faculty for the Global Health track. Experiences and interests include global health, medical education and development, rural and underserved healthcare, women's healthcare, and medical ethics. She is also involved in quality improvement at the hospital. She has a passion for medical training, and thoughtful, ethical, and holistic patient care.
