AHSL is the largest, most comprehensive health sciences library in Arizona, providing electronic access to vast stores of biomedical literature, participating as instructors in the curricula of the colleges, working with researchers and clinicians on projects to improve access to essential information and providing comfortable space for small group collaborations and quiet study in a collegial atmosphere. AHSL’s primary clientele are the UA colleges associated with the Arizona Health Sciences Center, as well as University Medical Center. In 2007, AHSL opened a facility on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus to support the UA College of Medicine–Phoenix.
