Film Club (Monday Movie Madness)
Students choose films that are to be shown on Monday at 5pm, twice a month, in the College of Medicine. Sponsored through the Medical Humanities Program.

Flying Samaritans Club
This club flies down to Baja, Mexico each month for weekend trips to provide medical services to an underprivileged pueblo in Baja, Mexico. We travel with numerous physicians along with medical students who work as helpers and interpreters.

Geriatrics Club
This club promotes awareness of health issues pertaining to older patients across every specialty in medicine.  Students are invited to participate in the Senior Mentor Program, Geriatric Elective, volunteer events in the community, and physician shadowing/discussions.

Ophthalmology Interest Group
The purpose of the Ophthalmology Interest Group at The University of Arizona is to increase student exposure to the field of ophthalmology and the science of vision by providing students with opportunities for education, mentorship, and outreach within the field of Ophthalmology. The interest group is a great opportunity to learn about a specialty that students have minimal exposure to and may not have initially considered as a career choice. It is an opportunity to interact not only with students but also with key faculty and the community.
