The University of Arizona College of Medicine Alumni Board met on Saturday, Oct. 6 in the Marvin “Swede” Johnson building in Tucson. The meeting covered a lot of ground, including discussing goals and priorities, new projects, current events and the recruitment of new members.

Christian Moher, MD, will speak at the 18th annual White Coat Ceremony to welcome the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson’s Class of 2016. As an alumnus, Dr. Moher said he hopes his speech will help the incoming class understand the uniqueness of the medical profession.

Clint McCall has been named senior director of development for the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson. He will oversee the college’s development, alumni relations and special events offices.
It is with deep sadness that we inform the University of Arizona College of Medicine community about the passing of Wayne Beck, MD, Class of 1975. After battling multiple health issues for the past few years, Dr. Beck passed away on Sunday, April 8, surrounded by his family.
