Application Details: 

The application for the 2023-2024 cohort of APME will open September 12, 2022. 

The APME application status page can be found in the Future Wildcat Portal or in the Common App, in the "Status Page", under the "Supplemental Applications" tab, the you will see "College of Medicine" option listed below if you are eligble . See below for the application guide:

Students will only see the application once all criteria are met (See "Admissions Criteria" tab on left side of page). Failure to meet all criteria will mean a student is not eligible and will not see the APME application. Students who have been recently admitted and are looking for their application may not see it as soon as they are admitted, our system will need to update with their application status. If you are an applicant who was just admitted, please wait at least 48-72 hours for the system to update to view the APME application. 

****Once an application is submitted or the deadline has passed(which ever comes first for you), we will not accept any changes or updates to applications nor will we be able to provide any updates on application status****

Admissions Process:

The University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson (COM-T) reviews applicants with a holistic approach when selecting incoming students. Having a holistic review process means that when viewing applications, each component of the application is viewed at the same level. A single component of an application will not push a student ahead or hold them back. When viewing the applicaiton, all materials will be reviewed when an application is being considered. The holistic review guarantees a fair and equitable consideration of an application, including the experiences, attributes, and metrics. This means that one portion of an application does not carry weight over another portion. COM-T looks at applicants beyond metrics to ensure that each student is a good fit for the mission and values of UA COM-T and has a passion for medicine.
