The University of Arizona College of Medicine Alumni Board met on Saturday, Oct. 6 in the Marvin “Swede” Johnson building in Tucson. The meeting covered a lot of ground, including discussing goals and priorities, new projects, current events and the recruitment of new members. Several members expressed how much they appreciated their medical training and its impact on their life, and said they chose to serve on the board to give back to the college.
As the board, made up of current students and alumni, works to foster growth and expansion, they’d like to extend the invitation to alumni community to join this dedicated group. The Alumni Board works to better alumni connections to the College of Medicine by completing tasks in committees, attending quarterly meetings and conducting outreach.
