Tamra Whiteley Myers, MD, Class of 1978

Here is a family photo of myself, my husband, Mark, and my two kids, Lauren and Thomas. We are all UA alumni – Mark, MBA; Lauren BS in math and cell and molecular biology; Thomas in optical sciences!

Cori Veatch, MD, Class of 2008

I am sharing an outpatient job with Andrea Patton (family medicine)! We are part-time doctors and part time stay-at-home moms. A dream come true!

Here is a photo of me, my husband, Jer, my 3-year-old, Finn, and my 15-month-old, Felicity. We live in Phoenix and have a futon in the toy room if anyone needs a place to stay when coming back to visit Arizona.

Casey Solem, MD, Class of 2011 – Phoenix

As I transition into my third year of residency, there are quite a few activities I've been involved with recently. For the past four months, I have been heavily involved with teaching at the College of Medicine. I've been facilitating small-group discussions called "Case Based Instruction" with the first- and second-year medical students. I've had a blast, and I'm looking for new ways to get involved with medical student teaching.

I can't believe I only have one year of residency left! I still love the challenges and excitement of emergency medicine, and it was just announced that I will be serving as chief resident for the 2013-2014 year.

On a personal note, my wife and I are expecting the birth of our first child this month! Grace Elizabeth Solem is expected to arrive somewhere during the month of April.
