Welcome to the Office of Graduate Medical Education at The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson South. We are very pleased that you are considering advancing your training at one of our residency/fellowship training programs. Our mission as adopted by our Graduate Medical Education Committee is: "To serve our patients and community by educating physicians in an outstanding academic environment that offers the best health services in a respectful and caring environment."

Our four residencies and one fellowship all meet or exceed the ACGME requirements in their specific disciplines. Our goal is to provide an environment that fosters interdisciplinary collegiality while upholding quality of care and patient safety standards - ultimately developing primary care physicians with a commitment to providing excellent care to the community. We offer a diverse educational experience in a variety of medical settings including community hospitals and tertiary care centers. Our residents are also actively involved in multiple scholarly opportunities with our renowned research faculty.
