Cardiovascular Disease Research Fair - UA Sarver Heart Center

For fellows, residents, and medical students

Are you looking for a cardiovascular research opportunity?

Do a project with one of the Sarver Heart Center faculty!

In order to provide a more robust research experience for you, our trainees, and to match your interests with available opportunities more efficiently, the Sarver Heart Center is holding its Annual Cardiovascular Research Fair in the Kiewit Auditorium on November 29th at 4:00 pm. This will be a brief session, in a “speed dating” format.

Melanoma Walk

The UA Skin Cancer Institute at the University of Arizona Cancer Center will present the eighth annual Melanoma Walk on Saturday, Nov. 4, on the UA Mall, 1209 E. University Blvd. Activities begin at 3 p.m. and the walk starts at 4:30 p.m.

Binational Health Fair

The University of Arizona Cancer Center is partnering with the Consulate of Mexico in Tucson to promote awareness of cancer, infectious diseases, women’s health, mental health and health-care access at the Binational Health Fair on Sunday, Oct. 1, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at San Miguel High School, 6601 S. San Fernando Road, Tucson.

Meet Your Pharmacist Save a Life: Carry Naloxone

The Petersen Clinic pharmacy team would like to invite you to join us for some food and info about the overdose reversal drug!  The event will include a brief presentation about overdose prevention, recognition, and response, and will discuss recent legislation passed allowing for greater naxolone access in Arizona.

Medical Student Leadership Awards

The College of Medicine takes great pride in developing tomorrow’s leaders.
