PACS Downtime - November,7th 10 p.m.

What to Expect during this Downtime:                                                                             

The link to PACs within Cerner will not be available

During the downtime, Users must use the PACS downtime

Double click on the red PACS DOWNTIME icon on the desktop. This will run a file in the background (you may notice a black box appear and then disappear).

Next double click the green PACS ENTERPRISE icon. You will now be in PACS DOWNTIME.

Note: During the downtime images can be found in exceptions as well as in patient lookup.

After downtime has concluded, you will need to double click the red PACS UPTIME icon. This will run another file in the background (you may notice a black box appear and then disappear again).

Once again double click the Green PACS ENTERPRISE icon. You will be back in PACS Production and able to resume normal operations.

What to do when the Downtime is Complete:

All users who have access to Philips Intellispace PACs will now be able to login using BHS credentials (i.e. your Cerner or Banner Portal credentials) instead of UMC Credentials

When logging in please select BHS under the “Log on to” box.


o   Visit The PACS Service Hub from the main intranet page

o   Select the “Something is Broken” tile

o   Use the Chat function in Service Hub to connect with an analyst

o   Call The PACS IT Service Desk at 520-694-4357 or 602-747-4444
