Apply for the Pre-Medical Admissions Pathway (P-MAP) program!

P-MAP is a 12-month, full-time, intensive medical school preparation program designed for students who have experienced greater than average challenges in preparing to become competitive medical school applicants. The program includes a Master of Science degree in Cellular & Molecular Medicine, customized academic plans, and seminars. Those who successfully complete the program requirements will receive conditional admission to the UA College of Medicine-Tucson campus.

Application Steps

  1. Complete your application through the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS)
    Designate the Tucson campus of the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
  2. Complete your secondary application
    You will receive a secondary application if you meet our minimum application requirements.
  3. Submit letters of recommendation
    These must be submitted before your interview day.
  4. Attend a Multiple Mini Interview (MMI)
    Interview invitations are sent after we have assessed your secondary application.
  5. Wait for a decision
    The Admissions Committee will receive your complete file once we verify all portions of your application.
