The Office of Accreditation, Quality & Analytics at the College of Medicine – Tucson is dedicated to advancing the quality and excellence of medical education through comprehensive accreditation management and rigorous program evaluation and student assessment practices. We are committed to supporting our faculty, students, and leadership by fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement and evidence-based decision-making. Our work ensures that the medical education program exceeds the highest standards of accreditation, while also driving impactful research in medical education to enhance learning and patient care outcomes. We want increased transparency on mistreatment and the college’s response.
 

We did ...

We updated the professionalism webpage to include a Professionalism Report Workflow that describes the process and procedures for handling reports of lapses in professionalism and exemplary professionalism in the learning environment. We also now update the Professionalism Data dashboard to show reports collected every 6-months and are planning further updates in 2024.

You said ...

We need clearer and improved access to educational resources at affiliated hospitals.

We did ...

We made changes to ensure that the necessary resources and systems are in place for students, including access to personal storage, laptops, electronic health records, and support for completing credentialing paperwork.

You said ...

We would like improvements to campus study spaces and the student lounge.
 

We did ...

With student feedback and involvement in the planning process, we renovated the student lounge and refreshed the study rooms on the third floor of the college.
