Dr. Kwan Lee, FSCAI, FACC, associate professor of clinical medicine, has been on faculty at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson since 2009.

Originally from Malaysia, he earned his medical degree from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, graduating in 2000. He completed his residency, cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic Arizona and Emory University.

Dr. Lee is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, echocardiography, interventional cardiology and endovascular medicine.

He is currently the cardiovascular medical service line director for Banner University Medical Group in Tucson. He also is the associate chief of the Division of Cardiology and associate program director for the cardiovascular fellowship at the University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center. He is the governor of the American College of Cardiology Arizona Chapter; a member of the SCAI International Committee, serving as the ASEAN liaison; and an ACC CathSAP question writer.

His research interests include simulation in interventional cardiology education and stent healing.
