2019 All Alumni Weekend Celebrating the Classes of 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999 and 2009

The UA College of Medicine – Tucson invites all UA COM-T alumni and guests back to campus this fall to celebrate and reminisce with old friends. Come see how we’ve grown and enjoy camaraderie with your classmates once again sharing research, education, and rapid evolution of the UA Health Sciences campus. The most important ingredient for a memorable weekend is you!

Friday, September 27

College of Medicine - Tucson Alumni Dinner
Honoring the Classes of 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999 and 2009
6 - 10 p.m.
Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa
Tucson, AZ
Join us at the lovely Westin La Paloma Resort for an evening of reminiscing and renewed friendship. Cost of $100 per person OR $180 per couple includes a hosted beer and wine reception and a buffet dinner. A cash bar will also be available.

Class photos will be taken throughout the evening at approximately these times:
6:30 p.m. Class of 1974
6:45 p.m. Class of 1979
7:00 p.m. Class of 1984
7:15 p.m. Class of 1989
7:30 p.m. Class of 1994
7:45 p.m. Class of 1999
8:15 p.m. Class of 2009

Luncheon and CME Event: Medical Ethics
12:30 - 3:15 p.m.
UA Health Sciences Innovation Building


Continue the 2019 Alumni Weekend with a networking luncheon and then hear from leading medical ethics researchers.

The buffet luncheon will begin at 12:30pm with the CME lecture beginning at 1:00pm and ending at 3:15pm. There is no cost for this event but advanced registration is required.

Saturday, September 28

College of Medicine Tours
3:30 - 5 p.m.
College of Medicine - Tucson

Ever wonder how medical school training has changed since you attended? Join us for this interactive session with current medical students to see what has changed — or maybe, is the exact same.

Join us for a tour of the brand new Health Sciences Innovation Building. The space includes the new home of the Arizona Simulation Technology & Education Center (ASTEC).

Saturday, September 28

COM-T Alumni Tailgate Party on the UA Mall
5:30 p.m.
UA Mall - On the Plaza of the Jim Click Hall of Champions

Get ready for the game with friends and classmates at the official College of Medicine Tailgate Party.

All alumni, friends and family are welcome to this event. Enjoy great food, a DJ, a photo booth and more! It's the perfect spot to gather with friends before heading to Arizona Stadium for the football game.

The tailgate party is FREE when you purchase football tickets in the College of Medicine - Tucson ticket block OR $20 per person without game tickets. Each tailgate ticket includes one meal plate and three drinks (2 alcoholic and 1 non-alcoholic).

Corner of Cherry and National Championship Drive

Join members of your COM-T class in the official REUNION BLOCK.  Seats will be located on the west side of the stadium in section 24. The cost is $50 per ticket, which includes entry/food/drink at the MedCat Pregame Tailgate Party. 

All tickets will be available for pickup at the Reunion Dinner on Friday, September 27 or at the MedCat Tailgate party on Saturday, September 28.

Tickets separate from the group may be purchased online at arizonawildcats.com or by calling the ticket office at 520-621-2287 or 800-452-2287.

Please note that Arizona Stadium enforces clear bag policy at all home games.  Registration fees do not qualify as a tax-deductible donation.



Sunday, September 29

Alumni Brunch with Special Guest Dr. Irving Kron
Interim dean of the UA College of Medicine – Tucson

10:30am - Noon
Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa

Please join College of Medicine - Tucson leadership at this annual event. Start the morning with a buffet breakfast followed by a discussion on the state of the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson.

The cost of the event is $35 per person.  Registration fees do not qualify as a tax-deductible donation.
