Despite a heavy load during midsummer orientation of incoming fellows, residents and new physicians, Matt Borchart, MD, was able to assist an intensive care unit patient, earning her and her family’s appreciation and a donation to the institution.

Srikar Adhikari, MD, has been appointed as the vice chair of faculty affairs for the department. This is the first vice chair ever appointed in the department.
