The Residents as Educators (RAE) Program provides educator development support for all residents in teaching medical students in clinical or classroom settings. As with faculty educator development, this program aims to enhance teaching, assessment and feedback practices.
The orientation to this program is online, using PlayPosit, and addresses adult learning theory, reflective teaching practice, active learning strategies, inquiry-based teaching, constructive feedback and assessment principles. Residency programs provide additional activities on teaching. While residents will NOT be graded, we do need to demonstrate that residents have completed the training.
Resident: Please use your UA or Department email address and first and last names when enrolling in the course.
