Andrew M Yeager, MD
Dr. Yeager is professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. At The University of Arizona Cancer Center, he serves as director of the Blood and Marrow Transplantation Program and associate director for Clinical Research, Phoenix. Dr. Yeager received his undergraduate and medical degrees from The Johns Hopkins University, where he completed a residency and chief residency in pediatrics and fellowship training in pediatric hematology/oncology. The major focus of Dr. Yeager's clinical and research activities is hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for hematologic malignancies and non-malignant diseases. He is an experienced clinical investigator, internationally recognized for his studies of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in adults and children with leukemia and in children with genetic storage diseases or sickle cell anemia.
