Srikar R. Adhikari, MD, MS, FACEP

Dr. Adhikari is a dedicated ultrasound enthusiast who has championed the use of point-of-care ultrasound at the local and national levels for over 17 years. He is an established investigator with more than 100 peer-reviewed point-of-care ultrasound publications and extramural funding from the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense, the Emergency Medicine Foundation and others.

His impassioned interest in ultrasound led him to serve on several editorial boards and peer-review panels for journals. He has lectured extensively at national and international venues. He has also been in leadership positions on numerous ultrasound committees and task forces. Throughout his career, he has received several awards and honors for his contributions to point-of-care ultrasound.
