Margaret Wat, MD, PhD

Dr. Margaret Wat is an Assistant Professor in Dermatology and Dermatopathology at University of Arizona Health Sciences Center and Banner University Medical Group. She graduated summa cum laude from Duke University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biology. She received her M.D./Ph.D. degrees at Baylor College of Medicine, where she earned a prestigious NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein NRSA F30 award to fund her graduate research in Molecular and Human Genetics. She completed an internal medicine internship at Baylor College of Medicine, dermatology residency at Case Western Reserve University, and dermatopathology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Her interests are in cutaneous oncology, dermatology/dermatopathology, and inflammatory conditions.
