David J. Aria, MD, MBA
An expert and specialist in the field of pediatric radiology, Dr. Aria earned his medical degree at Temple University where he was the honored with the Temple Children’s Hospital Key Maker Award during his pediatric rotation. Nominated by a hospital social worker and registered nurse for his exemplary work and dedication, Dr. Aria marked the first time a Temple School of Medicine student was bestowed this honor.
Dr. Aria provides a wealth of knowledge and experience from renowned Children’s Hospitals on both coasts. A major area of interest includes imaging of children with pulmonary disease and congenital heart disease using CT and MRI.
A natural instructor, Dr. Aria is an invited lecturer and regularly contributes to Continuing Medical Education (CME) presently leading the Annual Pediatric Radiology Continuing Medical Education Course. Early in his educational career, Dr. Aria served as an academic tutor at Ursinus College and worked as an MCAT physical science instructor for the Princeton Review.
Dr. Aria has authored more than 40 publications and has presented over 150 scientific posters, exhibits and abstracts. He is a current member of Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), Society of Pediatric Interventional Radiology (SPIR), the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and the Society for Pediatric Radiology (SPR).
Dr. Aria is fluent in English, Farsi and Spanish. When he is not working, Dr. Aria enjoys outdoor activities, sports and international affairs.
