Where are you from? Flagstaff, Arizona.

What are your personal interests/hobbies? Trail running, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, cooking and baking, hanging out and playing with my dogs.

What are your professional interests? Pediatric emergency medicine, wilderness medicine.

Why did you choose the College of Medicine – Tucson Pediatrics Residency Program? The people! We have such a fun and supportive group of people who are there to support you through thick and thin and make this program a great place to train. The passion of this program and place inspires me. I love the diverse patient population of Tucson. Tucson also has such great access to the outdoors, a lively, funky culture, and all the street tacos you could ever dream of!

What is your favorite thing about Tucson? The outdoor access. Tucson has access to tons of trails and areas to escape and enjoy nature.

What are your non-medical goals during residency? Run a marathon and do another mountain bike race! Keep the stoke high and continue to find balance!

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? Flying.
