Alexa Farmer, PhD
Postdoctoral Research Associate I
Alexa received her bachelor's in bioengineering from Virginia Tech in 2011 and completed her PhD in biomedical sciences in 2016 after doing research in the Chen lab at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She then relocated from Memphis to Tucson and joined the lab of Steffan Nawrocki and Jennifer Carew as a postdoc in the fall of 2016. Alexa enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Matt and their corgi Einstein.
