Andrea Heyn, MD

Resident/Fellow

I was born and raised in Michigan. I loved the snow as a kid but definitely prefer the warmer states these days. I got my BS in Biology before going to Loma Linda University in Southern California for medical school. I am excited to be a Family Medicine Resident here at University of Arizona because of the quality of the faculty, the doctors that graduate from the program and the positive, supportive learning environment. In my free time, I like to get outside and go on hikes with my four dogs. I also enjoy Olympic weightlifting and Crossfit. Lastly, I joined a group called Gabriel's Angels which work with high risk youth through the help of therapy dogs. I hope to incorporate this modality of therapy into my practice one day.
