Dr. Howard grew up in the northern Louisiana city of Shreveport. Before medical school, he ran a neurosurgery research lab focusing on MRI analysis and epilepsy in mice. He enjoys empowering his patients to make sustainable lifestyle changes and taking an active role in their health care. When not at the hospital, you can find him attempting new baking recipes and tackling projects around the house.
