Camille Leblanc, DO
Where are you from? St. Johnsbury, Vermont.
Why did you choose the College of Medicine – Tucson Pediatrics Residency Program? I was looking for a medium-sized program with a diverse patient population and wanted to be close to my parents, who had just retired to the Tucson area. Coming from New England, I also wanted some heat and sunshine. My UA Peds interview was by far my favorite, with the most welcoming and positive people. My experience here did not disappoint!
What are your current professional interests and career goals? General pediatrics.
What are your personal interests and hobbies? When I have free time, I love to go to exercise classes like spin and yoga. I also travel and have not let that go even though my time is more limited in residency!
What is your favorite thing about Tucson? There is something for everyone here! Whether we spend our free time going to eat at different restaurants, playing pickleball or trying out new hiking trails, there is never a lack of activities.
What are your non-medical goals during residency? My goal is to take advantage of my time here to travel around the West Coast, since I am much closer to California, Utah and Colorado than I have ever lived before!
