Where are you from? Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Why did you choose the College of Medicine – Tucson Pediatrics Residency Program? I wanted a community with a large population of Hispanic/Latinx patients and was curious to learn the nuances of medical care for those crossing the border. I also was swayed by the Spanish Language Health Care Disparities Distinction Track, which I am happy to be a part of this year!

What are your current professional interests and career goals? Peds GI or gen peds.

What are your personal interests and hobbies? Tennis, yoga, hiking, baking, crocheting, watercolor, plants.

What is your favorite thing about Tucson? The gorgeous landscape and the delicious Mexican food!

What are your non-medical goals during residency? My goal is to be a certified Spanish interpreter by the time I graduate!
