Where are you from? Los Angeles.

Why did you choose the College of Medicine – Tucson Pediatrics Residency Program? As cliche as it sounds, the people! I felt like even on virtual interview day, I could see myself working and becoming friends with this group of people. I also love the opportunities we are exposed to during each of our services; we rarely transfer patients out and are able to do the majority of our care in house.

What are your current professional interests and career goals? NICU fellowship!

What are your personal interests and hobbies? Rock climbing, hiking, obsessing over my kitties, cooking and baking, and watching new scary movies.

What is your favorite thing about Tucson? The nature, the mountains, the views and the sunsets — it never gets old.

What are your non-medical goals during residency? To do the El Tour de Tucson each year I’m here, camp at least once on Mt. Lemmon and visit all the national parks in this part of the country!
