Eric received a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame. He earned his M.D. from the University of Missouri School of Medicine. His professional interests include adult outpatient psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, addiction medicine, positive psychiatry, and sports psychiatry. His personal adventures include hiking and biking, craft beer, live music, golf, and skiing. He is originally from Carson City, Nevada.
