Hasan Ozgur, MD

Dr. Ozgur is adept at providing care both in hospital and outpatient settings. He brings experience in both diagnostic and interventional radiology. Prior to joining the College of Medicine – Tucson, Dr. Ozgur practiced at a private radiology group in Washington, where he quickly advanced and became a partner. Dr. Ozgur successfully treated patients with spinal pain by providing minimally invasive spinal interventions. Additionally, he played a key role in the group’s outpatient imaging center, which is still operational and successfully serving the local community.

Dr. Ozgur has served on numerous committees in various capacities, including as chairman and vice chairman of the Department of Radiology/Pathology, the Medical Executive Committee, the Bylaws Committee, the Surgical QI/PI Committee and the Medical QI/PI Committee. He said he considers it a privilege to be a member of the faculty at the University of Arizona.

Dr. Ozgur is very enthusiastic about being an educator and sharing his expertise with residents, fellows and medical students. Dr. Ozgur is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology and a member of the American College of Radiology, the Turkish Radiology Society and the Turkish Medical Imaging Society.
