Clinical InterestsPatient safety, medication safety, and quality of patient care in pediatrics and pediatric critical careResearch InterestsDr. Franke's research focuses on patient safety and quality of patient care in pediatrics and pediatric critical care. She is a member of the Pediatric Measurement Center of Excellence (PMCoE) Expert Work Group, a national interprofessional group of physicians, nurses, and family delegates representing varied pediatric intensive care units (PICUs), and this group is tasked to develop clinically applicable quality measures in pediatric critical care.
