John C Racy, MD

John Racy, MD was an Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry and Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson. Dr. Racy attended medical school at the American University at Beirut and completed his residency at the University of Rochester. His professional interests are in medical student education, couples therapy, and family therapy. Dr. Racy has published in transcultural psychiatry, especially of the Middle East. He has been the Director of Medical Student Education for 33 years and has won numerous awards and honors for excellence in medical student education.
