Joshua Kendall Beverly, MD

Fellow

Dr. Joshua Beverly grew up in San Diego. During medical school, he performed research investigating poloxamer 188 (P188) interactions with heparin/tPA. He also helped start a program for elementary students in westside Chicago to build excitement for science and health care. As a resident physician at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, he conducted research in preventive cardiology and also served as co-chair for the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Committee.

He was drawn to cardiology given the variety of skills to be learned and roles that can be performed in addition to an intangible attraction to the heart form and function.

In his free time, he enjoys exploring cities/restaurants, basketball, poetry, and boxing.
