Kimberly A. Fitzpatrick, MD

Associate Professor, Medical Imaging

Kimberly Fitzpatrick, MD is originally from Phoenix, and has spent most of her life in Arizona. Based on an early interest in science, Dr. Fitzpatrick attended the University of Arizona to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology. She then pursued her life-long dream of doctoring by attending Dartmouth Medical School in New Hampshire, where her interest in the field of women's imaging was sparked. She returned to Tucson for her residency training in Radiology, followed by a fellowship in Breast and Body Imaging at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Having worked exclusively in her field of training since 2005, Dr. Fitzpatrick has extensive knowledge and skills in breast imaging and intervention, including mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and image-guided breast procedures. She contributes to a variety of ongoing research projects related to breast imaging and breast cancer treatment and prevention.
