Marcelle D. Leet, MD, DLFAPA

Assistant Clinical Professor, Psychiatry

Dr. Leet began her career as a National Health Service Corps scholar working with the Gila River Indian Community as a psychiatrist and director of Behavioral Health Services. Since then, she has served in a number of leadership positions, including as chief medical officer of the Arizona State Hospital, medical director of inpatient psychiatric services and vice chair for psychiatry at Banner Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center (now Banner University Medical Center), associate program director for the psychiatric residency program at Maricopa Integrated Health Systems, and as medical director of Cenpatico.

Dr. Leet has served as a consultant to many organizations, including the Veterans Affairs Administration, TriCare (Magellan), Cigna, Arizona Long Term Care and the Indian Health Service, among others.

Dr. Leet has been active throughout her career in the education of medical students and resident doctors as a faculty member at Banner and Maricopa Integrated Health Systems. She has been named a “Top Doc” by Phoenix Magazine and has been listed in “Best Doctors in America."
