Dr. Klugheit’s early career focused on community psychiatry, treating patients with serious mental illness. She is a distinguished Life Fellow of APA, and a member of American College of Psychiatry. At the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, she is currently the medical director of Inpatient Geropsychiatry Unit, director of consultation-liaison psychiatry and the chair of the Dementia Committee.
