Dr. Klugheit’s early career focused on community psychiatry and treating patients with serious mental illness. She is a distinguished Life Fellow of APA and a member of the American College of Psychiatry. At the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, she is the medical director of the Inpatient Geropsychiatry Unit, director of consultation-liaison psychiatry and chair of the Dementia Committee.
