Dr. Rawani-Patel grew up in New Hyde Park, New York. Before returning to the University of Arizona as faculty, she worked at LAC-USC. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys traveling, especially to San Diego to enjoy the beach life, and exploring national parks.
