Sara Al-Ghadban, PhD

Postdoctoral Research Associate I

Dr. Al-Ghadban is a postdoctoral research associate affiliated with the Treatment, Research and Education of Adipose Tissue (TREAT) Program and Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Tucson. The division is one of 14 in the UA Department of Medicine, one of six original and the largest department in the UA College of Medicine with three residency programs, 18 fellowship programs and more than 250 faculty physicians and investigators. Dr. Al-Ghadban joined the TREAT Program shortly after receiving her doctorate in cellular biology from Leinniz Universitat in Hannover, Germany, in 2016. She also holds a master's degree in biochemistry from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, and a bachelor's degree in biology from Lebanese University in Beirut, Lebanon. She did her doctoral dissertation on "The inflammatory microenvironment in a model of Inflammatory Bowel Disease."
