Why University of Arizona? UArizona offered global health opportunities unlike anywhere else. I knew I wanted to learn around a deeply diverse population with substantial need, Tucson is just the place to learn, grow and become adaptable to all situations. This program offers culturally competent leaders who are visionaries in their fields, advocates for their patients and enjoy sharing their fund of knowledge. Lastly, the group of amazing residents I met were exactly the kind of colleagues I wanted to work alongside.
