Elise Le Cam, MD, one of five 2024-25 internal medicine chief residents who coordinated with the IM Residency staff and faculty to put on the Research Academic Half-Day activities, said, “We are incredibly proud of the outstanding research our residents have conducted this year and the impressive results they showcased at our Research Half Day!”

She added that winners received research certificates — an excellent addition to their CVs and valuable asset for future career opportunities.

Hosted May 1 in the HSIB Forum of the Health Sciences Innovation Building, setup for posters closed at 1 p.m., followed by serving of food and beverages, with formal presentations made to judges from 2-3 p.m. At that point, oral presentations began while poster evaluation sheets were tallied. Oral presentations lasted until nearly 4 p.m., when winners were announced.
