Policies for the medical education program curriculum are regularly reviewed and revised by the Tucson Educational Policy Committee (TEPC) and its subcommittees. Policies undergoing review first go to the Policy Review Subcommittee (PRS) before proceeding to the relevant phase-level subcommittee(s), as applicable. The TEPC provides the final review of all curriculum-related policies and determines their approval status.
Non-curricular policies related to the medical education program are reviewed by an ad hoc policy advisory committee and approved by the Vice Dean for Medical Education.
Please direct general questions, concerns, and proposals for revising or developing new policy to the chair of the Policy Review Subcommittee. Inquiries about a specific policy can also be directed to the policy contact listed within the respective policy document.
