Clinical Scholars Hub

The Clinical Scholars Hub is a shared workspace designed to support clinicians, residents and fellows across the College of Medicine – Tucson. Located near the Tower 4 elevator bank, the Hub provides a professional environment to meet, work and connect while on clinical rotations.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the space accommodates focused work, small-group collaboration and informal conversation throughout the day.

Location

The Clinical Scholars Hub is located near the Tower 4 elevator bank, adjacent to the COM-T/BUMC entry doors and central elevators for convenient access between clinical and academic spaces.

Access is restricted to COM-T faculty, trainees and staff via CatCard.

Workstations

The Hub includes more than a dozen individual workstations arranged in semi-private pods. Each station provides a spacious desk surface and ergonomic seating to support focused, independent work between clinical responsibilities.

Private Offices

Two private offices with doors are available for confidential conversations, virtual meetings or focused work requiring additional privacy.

Conference Room

A glass-enclosed conference room accommodates up to six people. This space is ideal for small team meetings, mentoring conversations, case discussions or collaborative work sessions.

Common Seating

The Hub also includes comfortable lounge seating and soft couches for informal meetings, conversation and brief respite during the clinical day. Modular tables allow small groups to gather easily, supporting collaboration across departments and specialties.

Use of the Space

The Clinical Scholars Hub is intended to foster collegiality, interdisciplinary engagement and productivity among COM-T faculty and trainees.
