What are your personal interests/hobbies? Watching sports, particularly college and professional football and basketball; video games; trivia; puzzles; and hanging out with my wife and friends.

What are your professional interests? Pediatric emergency medicine, public health, advocacy, academic medicine

Why did you choose U of A Emergency Medicine? I wanted to be here for residency for the combined EM/Peds program. I know that this curriculum will best prepare me for my future career goals. I also felt welcomed by the faculty, staff and residents when interviewing.

What is your favorite activity in Tucson or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program? I am excited to try new food and have access to the hiking trails. Also, avoiding cold Midwest winters.

What are your nonmedical goals during residency? Make lots of new friends and explore a new city.
