Amanda Esperas, DNP, CPNP-AC/PC
Dr. Esperas is a clinical assistant professor at the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University, where she serves as the specialty coordinator for the primary care pediatric nurse practitioner program in the doctor of nursing practice (DNP) program. She is dually certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner in both primary and acute care, with clinical experience spanning both primary care and pediatric critical care settings.
Dr. Esperas has a strong interest in preventive health, with a focus on pediatric growth, development and caregiver-child attachment. In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Esperas is passionate about education and the use of simulation-based learning to prepare future nurse practitioners for real-world practice. Her academic and clinical leadership reflects a commitment to advancing pediatric health and nurturing the next generation of pediatric providers.
