Where are you from?     

Houston, Texas. 

Why did you choose U of A family medicine?    

I chose this program because of its comprehensive training, the integrative medicine track and the opportunity to serve a diverse patient population. 

What are you most excited about for life in Tucson?    

I’ve heard a lot of great things about the beautiful scenery, the hiking trails and the nature parks, and I am looking forward to exploring everything the area has to offer.

What are your interests or hobbies outside of medicine?    

I enjoy watching and playing sports, fishing, chess and traveling. I’m into all sorts of sports, including football, basketball, baseball, wrestling and badminton.

What are your professional interests within medicine?     

Integrative medicine, sports medicine, behavioral health

What is your favorite way to spend a day off?    

Relaxing with family and friends is my ideal way to spend a day off. I also enjoy watching or playing sports in my free time. 

What is the top item on your bucket list? 

One of the top items on my bucket list is traveling to Switzerland to hike and ski in the mountain villages. I briefly passed through some of them during a European bus trip, and the breathtaking views made me want to return and explore them more fully.
