Why University of Arizona? I really liked what I saw during my interviews - the residents were personable and seemed to get along with each other really well. I liked the aspects of rural and international surgery. Even though we are an academic center we work at community, VA, and private practice locations also to get a wide variety of experience and patient populations. The graduating residents had excellent match results.
