What are your personal interests and hobbies? Running, strength training, hiking, camping, international travel, spending time with friends and family.

What are your professional interests? Military/aerospace medicine, global health, wilderness medicine, disaster response.

Why did you choose U of A emergency medicine? I really enjoyed my interview and interactions with this program’s faculty and residents. I’m thankful to be part of this community. Additionally, I was drawn to the strong clinical training and opportunities to grow as a physician here. 

What is your favorite activity in Tucson or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program? Tucson is a beautiful location with plenty of activities for any outdoor enthusiast. I’m excited for local hiking and camping in my free time. 

What are your nonmedical goals during residency? Summit Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, complete a half Ironman and/or my second marathon, form lasting friendships, and travel internationally and domestically.
