Dr. Peterson is the director of the Addiction Medicine Program at Sierra Tucson. He worked with Arizona Department of Health colleagues to develop The Arizona Pain and Addiction Curriculum in response to the Arizona Statewide Public Health Emergency due to the Opioid Epidemic. Dr. Peterson’s Addiction Medicine practice is informed by current medical evidence applied to an individual’s situation. 

He enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family, and sci-fi and fantasy genre books and entertainment.
