My Journey with the BSM Program
I began my undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona with a major in physiology. However, that changed when I was introduced to the BSM major and the unique opportunities it had to offer. In the spring of my sophomore year, I made the decision to switch my major to BSM, and I have not regretted it once. This program has offered me an incredible learning experience, classes led by real doctors who graciously share their time and expertise away from their busy practices. I especially look forward to opportunities to spend time at the hospital made possible by the specialized courses within this major.
Academic and Career Goals
My next major goal is to attend medical school in Phoenix after taking a gap year following my senior year. While I am still exploring which specific field to pursue, after some shadowing experience I have found a strong interest in anesthesiology and orthopedics. I hope that with additional clinical and shadowing opportunities, I will have a better understanding about the path that aligns best with my skills and interests.

Ask Me About
Like any university, the University of Arizona presents unique challenges and distractions that can be difficult for new students to navigate. I am excited to assist incoming students by sharing study tips, helping navigate D2L, connecting them with academic support resources, exploring study abroad opportunities, and helping them find a balance between school and social life.
